IT Executive

Main Responsibilities:
As an IT Executive at IMS Group, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting IT Systems: Managing IT infrastructures across IMS Group and ensuring the smooth operation of all technologies and platforms.
2. Software installation and upgrades: installation of system software and applications, ensuring that applications are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
3. Technical Support and troubleshooting: Providing day-to-day technical assistance for computer systems, printers, network infrastructure, CCTV systems biometric devices across various departments.
4. Hardware maintenance: setup, repair and maintenance of Laptops, Desktop computers, configure routers Printers and other IT infrastructures.
5. Data Backup and recovery: ensuring data backup before loss and restore lost, corrupted or damaged data.
6. Firewall & System Security: understanding IT polices and assist with network security tools such as firewalls, antivirus and encryption.
7. IT Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of IT system, network configurations, software license etc.
8. Vendor and Asset management: Assist in liaising with vendors and ISP to ensure timely and effective support for internet services and maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper management.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Should have bike and bike license
– Previous experience or internships in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
– Basic understanding of networking, software installation, and hardware troubleshooting.
– Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for IT infrastructure protection.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
– Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
