Job Description

 The Claims Coordination Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing various claims-related activities, ensuring smooth communication and documentation processes, and maintaining accurate records for settlement and audit purposes. This role requires coordination with both Regional Distributors (RD) and National Distributors (ND), handling scheme communications, claims settlements, and financial follow-ups with Samsung India Electronics Limited (SIEL).

Job Specification

RD Coordination:

  • Scheme Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication of schemes to all relevant channels.
  • Documentation for Claims: Manage and organize all necessary documentation for claims processing.
  • Monthly Scheme Pass-On: Distribute scheme details to all channels on a monthly basis.
  • Ledger Management: Maintain and update the monthly scheme pass-on ledger from RD to RT.
  • Email Follow-Up: Conduct regular email follow-ups to ensure timely processing and resolution of claims.
  • Settlement Details: Prepare and provide monthly settlement details.
  • Audit: Conduct regular audits for RD-related claims to ensure compliance and accuracy.

ND Coordination:

  • Scheme Letters Management: Manage the distribution and archiving of scheme letters.
  • Claims Management: Handle claims for all types of schemes, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • -PO Quotations: Raise purchase order (PO) related quotations via BQMS.
  • PO Claims: Process and manage PO-related claims.
  • Monthly Claim Settlement: Ensure all claims are settled on a monthly basis.
  • Tracking: Monitor and track monthly claims to ensure they are processed within the given deadlines.
  • Document Submission: Submit hard copy documents of claims to the SIEL team.
  • Channel Settlement: Email RDs for channel settlement of claims.
  • Financial Follow-Up: Conduct monthly follow-ups with SIEL regarding the financial aspects of payments.
  • Meetings with SIEL: Participate in meetings with SIEL to discuss and clarify claim criteria.
  • Report Maintenance: Maintain and update the scheme pass-on report from ND to RD and RD to RT.
  • Channel Communication: Prepare and disseminate channel communications for SPP.
  • Ledger Compilation: Collect, compile, and share scheme pass-on ledgers with the Head of Department (HOD).
  • Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly status reports on claims to the HOD of Business Operations and Finance.
