Job Description
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Oversee daily accounting entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, inter-company).
- Ensure accurate recording of payables, receivables, fixed assets, and inventory
- Credit Control , update and follow-up bank guarantee, postdated cheque clearing
- Month-End & Year-End Closing
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Prepare and review trial balance, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Identify and resolve reconciling items or discrepancies promptly.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely calculation, deposit, and filing TDS, VAT and update Purchase Register
- Prepare data for tax audits, income tax returns, and replies to tax notices.
- Audit Support
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors; provide required schedules, documents, and explanations.
- Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate periodic financial reports (actual vs. budget, variance analysis, aging reports, etc.) for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis as requested by senior management.
